PS1/PS2 created enormous userbase for Playstation. Launch was succesful just because of the fanboys. All wanted one. When fanboys got theirs, sales almost stopped.
You said PS3 is the only one that shows increase.. right, sales lowering in many places, Japan one of the worst which is really sad.
And actually 360 has been showing increase in sales in Japan due the some new games.

The fact is that you really need to be able to make the game that really is great and prolly the best ever greated to be able to profit from PS3 exclusive. With such a low userbase it is not really good idea unless you really got several hundred of aces in your sleeve to make people buy PS3 just because of your damn sweet game and actually get profit from it.

Sadly, currently all 360 games are badly ported to PS3. Why is that? It kinda feels like devs don't care about PS3. There goes your number one dev platform. Square has obviously realised how annoying PS3 is to dev to.

Just wait, they're gona demo this technology in E3 and they will have the exact same data running with PC/360 and PS3.
It is the quality what matters, not the amount of games (except atm PS3 needs many quality games to boost up sales).
I can say that 85% of these games are not worth it, but hey at least some great titles there. Same thing with 360/Wii and PC.

This might be the first game ever to really need blu-ray, but for real, 20 gigs (packed textures?)for texturing work is just madness for one track. "Track" makes me wonder if they have some kind of racing thing to show the engine with?
Hmm.. I'm sure things could be better with MS and their strategies but only fool would say they are not doing fine with 360. With all hardware problems (I have not personally witnessed any with my launch console)that 360 is having, they have been doing incredibly well. Any other console with as severe problems would have already died. Especially end of the 2007 will sell loads of more 360 consoles. With so many cool games coming out is not even hard.
What they could do is wider...

Cut scenes looks mighty fine, but the gameplay footage doesn't look very good. Hopefully the game itself is fun/enjoyable.
Clan rooms might be the only good thing in these kind of things. IF that is possible.

They don't think it is crap, but they have never actually thought it would be good, those who have tried it, love it. MS just needs to lure people to actually test one. I bet most of us have experienced the same with some other product. First you think nah, it might not be good and you don't need it, but when you test it you're hooked and wonder how you managed without :)
